AI Use Policy & Safety Standards

Scope

This policy applies to all text, prompts, uploaded references when available, and images created or shared through CarouselMint. It supplements the Terms of Service. We may refuse, remove, or limit content or access that violates this policy or creates safety, legal, or platform-integrity risks.

Content Standards and Prohibited Categories

You must not use CarouselMint to create, request, distribute, or help distribute:

1. Sexual or NSFW content, including explicit nudity, sexual acts, sexual exploitation, or pornography.
2. Violent or graphic content, including gore, torture, glorification of violence, or instructions intended to cause physical harm.
3. Hateful or harassing content that attacks, dehumanizes, threatens, or encourages discrimination against people or protected groups.
4. Child sexual abuse material or child-safety violations, including any sexualized depiction of a minor, grooming, exploitation, or content that facilitates harm to children. We prohibit this without exception.
5. Deceptive impersonation or harmful deepfakes, including content that falsely presents a real person as saying, doing, endorsing, or appearing in something without authorization, especially when used for fraud, harassment, election interference, or reputational harm.
6. Intellectual-property or privacy violations, including copyrighted works, trademarks, personal images, confidential materials, or personal data used without the necessary rights or permissions.
7. Illegal, fraudulent, malicious, or deceptive activity, including scams, malware, phishing, forged evidence, regulated-product evasion, or instructions that enable wrongdoing.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights, permissions, and lawful basis to use your input and publish the resulting image.

Reporting a Safety or Rights Concern

Anyone may report suspected policy violations, impersonation, IP/privacy infringement, or child-safety concerns by emailing contact@carouselmint.com. If you have an account, you may also submit an in-product support ticket.

Please include the relevant image or page URL where possible, a short description of the concern, your contact information, and evidence of your rights if the report concerns IP, privacy, or impersonation. Do not send payment-card information. Reports involving suspected child sexual abuse material should not include or re-share the material; provide only the minimum information needed to locate it.

Moderation and Enforcement

CarouselMint applies layered controls to AI image requests:

• Before image generation, automated checks evaluate the final prompt and block clearly unsafe requests.
• After an image is generated, automated image-safety review is required before the result is delivered.
• Reports and flagged content can be reviewed by authorized staff. We may restrict visibility, remove content, decline a request, revoke related credits where appropriate, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve records needed for safety or legal compliance, and report suspected unlawful material to competent authorities where required.

Automated review reduces risk but is not perfect. A result passing review is not a guarantee that it is lawful, accurate, non-infringing, or safe to publish. We may act on a report even after content has been generated.

Current AI Systems and Transparency

For the current AI-designed image workflow, CarouselMint uses the following systems:

• Image generation: HiAPI's gpt-image-2/text-to-image endpoint (shown in the product as GPT Image 2) for final AI visual assets.
• Content structuring and visual planning: DeepSeek Flash (deepseek-flash) for structured text analysis and page planning.
• Safety checks: SeeAPI text and image NSFW moderation services before generation and before delivery.

Models and providers can change as we improve quality, availability, safety, or regional compliance. When a material change affects the AI-designed image workflow, we will update this page. CarouselMint does not currently offer a user-selectable image-model menu.
