A content repurposing workflow: turn one article into social images
A good article should not be published once. Turn its conclusions, frameworks, and evidence into covers, knowledge images, and social carousels.
Content repurposing is not copying the same paragraph across channels. It is using different image formats to help different readers understand the same idea. An article carries the full argument; social images make its most useful parts easier to swipe, save, and share.
Start with one source that contains real information
The best sources for repurposing already contain a clear conclusion, supporting reasons, examples, steps, or data. The original does not need to be perfect, but it needs real information. If the input is one vague topic, the image can only become a slogan.
Use three outputs for different publishing goals
First, a cover image highlights the topic and hook. Second, a one-image summary or knowledge card lets readers take away a framework, comparison, or conclusion in one view. Third, a carousel splits a full argument into a connected reading sequence.
You do not need all three every time. Choose one based on the channel, source density, and goal: a cover for attention, a knowledge image for authority, and a carousel when a complex idea needs explanation.
Do not mistake shortening for repurposing
Social images need less copy, but they should not randomly lose conditions, evidence, or logic. Reorganize instead: turn long explanation into headings and sub-cards, steps into a flow, numbers into comparisons, and examples into annotations. The information remains; its reading format changes.
Keep assets that can be used again
A useful workflow preserves editable content blocks, the image count, dimensions, and export format. After an article becomes a five-image carousel, it can still become a one-image summary or be exported in 4:5 and 9:16 without starting the design from zero.
Open the studio with an existing article and choose the final content-image format, or read the article-to-carousel guide first.
